Hometownies just wanna have fun… and that’s exactly what we did on Labor Day morning. With the roads empty and the cyclists enthusiastic, we biked our first official shop-to-shop ride for a Labor Day that’ll go down in Hometown history.

Hometown’s Tour de Livingston Training Ride meets Sundays at 8am in Howell

You know we’re head over heels for Tour de Livingston, and we’re all about bringing you in on the fun. So, if you haven’t done it yet, now’s the time to pre-register.

MONDAYS: GRAVEL GRINDER RIDE WITH CYCLODAN
WHAT:  Dirt-bomb the gravel roads of Whitmore Lake and Hamburg with Hometown’s hipster bike guru, “Cyclodan” Tribble.

TUESDAYS: GREEN GALS WOMEN-ONLY MOUNTAIN BIKING
WHAT:  Women-only mountain bike ride, with coffee and socializing afterward!

WHERE:  Meet at Island Lake trailhead at Green Oak Village Place Mall in Brighton
DISTANCE & PACE:  Approx. 10.5 miles (Blue Loop), easy pace, no drop ride

TUESDAYS: ROLLIN’ FATTIES
WHAT:  Casual trail ride through Island Lake for cyclists with a fat bike fixation!

DISTANCE & PACE:  Approx. 12-15 miles, easy pace, no drop ride

WHAT:  Women-only road ride, with the notable exception of your ride leader, Shaun!

DISTANCE & PACE:  Approx. 15 miles, easy pace, no drop ride

THIS SATURDAY: BREWS & CRUISE LADIES’ NIGHT OUT
WHAT:  A sweet and slow Lakelands Trail cruise that ends with a beery nightcap!

WHERE:  Meet at parking lot across from Hamburg Pub
DISTANCE & PACE:  Approx. 10-15 miles, easy pace, no drop ride

WHAT:  Casual, beginner road Ride Around Whitmore Lake (RAWL) with Hometown’s Brian Raine.

WHERE:  Meet at Hometown Bicycles – Whitmore Lake
DISTANCE & PACE:  Approx. 6-8 miles, easy pace, no drop ride

WHAT:  A fun, scenic road ride in preparation for our favorite Livingston County tour!

WHERE:  Meet at the War Memorial in front of the Court House in Howell
DISTANCE & PACE:  1 or 2 loops (your choice), approx. 15 miles each, intermediate pace, no drop ride
