Time for a Change…
TODAY, IT’S OFFICIAL.
Hometown Bicycles – the people, personalities, and stories; the products, plans, and mission; the Hometown experience and culture – has officially left 10605 Grand River Road…
… and pedaled a few yards west to resettle in 10595 Grand River Road!
Our new home is looking cooler by the second, and we absolutely can’t wait to get you in here.

WHOA. NELLY. WHAT AN EVENT! With a long line of eager bargain hunters stretching back toward our new shop, we launched THE biggest sales event in Hometown Bicycles’ eventful history. Products, fixtures, appliances, furniture – all up for grabs!
We just want to say… THANK YOU for being there. You’ve shown us your true Hometown spirit, and it’s something worth growing for. Know that your support has brought us that much closer to our big move!
And a special shout-out to Tom Spangler, Mike, and Fred Tomczyk (Dawn’s dad!) who volunteered their time to help make our Moving Sale ROCK!
For now, we’re operating business-as-normal in our current shop. Be prepared, though, for the telltale signs of our impending evolution.

…TOUR DE LIVINGSTON, THAT IS! This October 11th marks the 8th annual, recreational ride on our communities’ most scenic, autumn roads. We’re not supposed to play favorites, but this incredible cycling event takes the cake for us Hometownies!
As always, we’ll be your friendly Tour de Livingston bicycle support crew, fellow Tour riders, and raffle bike donator.
Also, with less than 2 months left to prepare, you’ll want to get yourself registered, prep your bike (we know a place that does the world’s best tune-ups – *wink-wink-nudge-nudge*), and log some serious mileage.
To help you with that last part, join Hometown for our Sunday morning Tour de Livingstontraining rides. We meet behind the Howell Courthouse at 8:00am, and ride two, 20-mile road loops at an intermediate level pace. Road bikes are required. Follow us on Facebookfor details and ride updates.
DOES “2016 JAMIS” RAISE YOUR HEART RATE?
IF YOU’RE ITCHING TO OWN THE NEWEST JAMIS BIKES, the bikes aren’t in yet, but the catalogs ARE. And. We. Are. GEEKED.

TRANSCONTINENTAL RIDER VISITS HOMETOWN
MEET OUR NEW FRIEND CHUCK… who just happens to be crossing the country by bicycle! Chuck stopped in for a repair on his ride from San Francisco to New York City. This guy is amazing!
Chuck hails from Korea, where he’s a student of Economics. He wanted to do something fun and unique between his Junior and Senior years at college, and decided to ride his bicycle across America on his summer vacation, visiting friends along the way. He is presently making his way across the Canadian border to New York.
May the wind be always at your back, Chuck. It was a privilege to be part of your adventure.
