Hometown Bicycles Winter Clinic Series: Bicycle Safety and Equipment

AND SO IT BEGINS… AGAIN!

Shaun and I met over bike clinics, so Hometown’s yearly winter clinic series has always been near and dear to our hearts. But that’s the only thing nostalgic about this year’s series; we’ve got a new, dream room in a new, dream shop to take it to an “11”!

Our clinics are free, and we appreciate your pre-registration for set-up purposes. This week – it was all about the safety. Next week brings the MASSIVELY popular, two-part Bike Care & Maintenance clinics. You’ll get the 411 on keeping your trusty steed looking and working its absolute best!

BECOME A STRONGER & MORE EFFICIENT CYCLIST

Yoga for Cyclists

Rockstar yogi (anyone who could run a yoga class in our former, cramped location deserves that title), co-founder of Hometown Bicycles Green Gals, and owner of Soul Stretch Yoga, Jessica Beaubien is now taking registrations for a cyclist-specific yoga class in the comfort and privacy of Hometown’s Community Room.

It’s an absolute steal at 6 weeks for $30. Walk-in price is $7 per session. Classes will runTuesdays at 11am. If interested, please email soulstretch@gmail.com.

ELLEN’S EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

Ellen Bartush and her artwork that sold at Hometown Bicycles

This is Ellen. Ellen is a Senior at Brighton High School and a member of Maureen Ray’s advanced drawing class. Ellen is holding an envelope containing a check for her artwork (upper right), which sold as part of our Hometown Bicycles Student Art Program. Ellen plans to study marketing, for which her creativity will be of enormous benefit.

Congratulations, Ellen!
