January 2021 Hours:

Friday through Monday
10 AM until 5 PM
January and February are THE best months to bring your bike in for service. As soon as March 1st rolls around, it’s officially bike season in Michigan and we are packed with tune-ups and repairs. Avoid the mad rush and be ready to hit the pavement (or dirt… or gravel…) as soon as possible!

Fat Biking for ALL!
We will host our first Fat Bike ride of the 2021 season TOMORROW!
When: Saturday, January 9 from 10 AM – Noon
Where: Settlers Park, Hartland

Use the Clark Road entrance and ride the Section 21 trail system located inside Settlers Park. This is a no-drop all-inclusive ride! Team Hometown members will be on-hand to lead and sweep the ride. Whether this is your first time riding a bike in the snow or you’re already well-versed in winter riding, you will have a place to safely participate. It is recommended to have a fat tire or plus tire bike for this ride, as conditions don’t support skinny tires.

This will be a socially distanced ride. You are expected to wear a mask when grouping together and act in a manner to ensure all are following safe practices. Let’s get out there and have some winter fun!

As always a ride waiver and helmet are required to participate. Please complete your waiver HERE.

** This ride is weather-permitting. Please check our event page for the latest updates HERE.

2021 Winter Clinic Series

We have an awesomely informative and enjoyable clinic series coming your way! With so many things shut down due to the ongoing pandemic, we invite you to spend your weekends with us.

Every Saturday from 5-6 PM, visit our HOME(town) for camaraderie and information-sharing. Alternating between Cycling Clinics and Story Nights, with our shop as your “home away from home,” we look forward to building community with you.

You may now be wondering, what is Story Night? It will be a casual “bring your own dinner” event where we can hang out and listen to fellow cyclists share their adventures.

To ensure comfort and safety, we are limiting attendance to 7 people at each event. Each person will have their own socially distanced table. If a couple or family attends, they will be able to share one table. Advance registration is required.

To kick things off, our first clinic will be on Saturday 1/16 — Fat Tire Fixes! For more information and to register, please visit Eventbrite HERE. Our full schedule will be available soon!

Interested in sharing your own adventure at a future Story Night? Have ideas for cycling clinics? Contact our Events Coordinator, Leslie B, at events@myhometownbicycles.com.
