On July 31st, DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital presents the Milford Criterium and hosts the Michigan State Criterium Championships. This will mark the first return of the state championship cycling event in over 30 years when championship road events were once held at the GM Milford Proving Grounds. Building on the successes of the previous two years, we plan to enhance the 2011 edition of the Milford Criterium to provide what we call “the complete race experience.” For those unfamiliar with our event, we will try to answer the question “what is a crit,” below. As it continues to grow, it will provide a significant positive impact to the sport, community and local economy.
