TEAM NEWS: HOMETOWN VISITS THE BIG “D”

Joe Ostervik took the Hometown jersey to the “D” as he joined the fun at the Mad Anthony CX Race at Historic Fort Wayne on November 13. It was an awesome Team member, on an awesome ride, with awesome whether, at an awesome location… yep, straight-up Hometown!

HOMETOWN SHOP RIDES

Happily, cold weather and early nights do NOT signal the end of cycling season! Here are a couple shop rides you won’t want to miss this week:

Friday Night Lights – Starts up again December 2nd, 7:00 p.m.
Meet at the shop by 6:45 for an intermediately-paced night jaunt through Island Lake. Be sure your lights are charged, and bring a back-up, if you have one!

*Woot! Woot!* to the Night Lights riders who survived the sudden and completely unexpected thunderstorm last week! Hometown Rides Coordinator Jean described it as:

“…high winds, leaves whipping in front of your glasses, rain pelting your jersey and the pain in your legs as you asked for more wattage to seek shelter… Man, that was a really, really fun ride!”
