Hometown Bicycles will be open DAILY from now through December 23 from 10 AM – 5 PM.
There are so many festive reasons to stop by!
Toys for Tots — We have collected 97 toys to date! The bins have been unloaded and we’re ready to fill them again. Thank you, cycling community, for your kindness and generosity!
Free Winter Storage with Tune-Up — Be the early bird who, come spring, isn’t waiting on your bike to be ready to roll. Get your tune-up now and store your bike at Hometown until March 1. Win-win!
Gift Certificate Trade-Up — Buy a Hometown Bicycles gift certificate for your favorite cyclist and receive a bonus accessory certificate from us! The accessory certificate is valued at 10% of your gift certificate purchase.
Hometown Ornaments — What a perfect way to support the shop while making your tree the coolest in town! We have custom Christmas tree ornaments in four designs, ranging from $10-$20.
Fun Holiday Gifts — From crazy cute socks to colorful bicycle helmets to the handcrafted, eclectic items sold in our Gifts & Novelties area, you’re sure to find something awesome!
FREE WINTER STORAGE with Tune-Up! Bring your bike in anytime between now and December 23rd for a tune-up and we will store it at the shop until spring! This means your bike will be all set to roll come those early days of cycling weather in March. No wait, no hassle… just freedom to get out there and ride.
We have room to store up to 220 bikes, so take advantage of this opportunity while space permits. For $25, we can even deliver your bicycle to your door this spring!
Gift Certificate Trade-Up! We are so grateful to our Hometown community for supporting our shop during what has been a tough year. We’ve received an outpouring of encouragement and generosity to keep us Hometown Strong. People still ask what they can do to support the shop as we enter the off-season, and with the holidays coming up, we have the perfect answer to that question — gift certificates! We are offering a Gift Certificate Trade-Up program this holiday season, through December 23rd.
Here’s how it works: Buy a gift certificate… Get an accessory certificate on us!
The accessory certificate is for 10% of the gift certificate you purchase. For example — you buy a $200 gift certificate and we give you a $20 certificate to use on accessories. The cyclist in your life is sure to love it!
Toys for Tots! We are a Toys for Tots collection site!
Your donations make a huge difference for children in Livingston County. This year, there is a greater need than ever before.
Drop off a new, unwrapped toy, game, or book for kids up to age 16, through December 19th.
If you aren’t up for shopping, you can make a cash donation at the shop and our Events Coordinator, Leslie B, will play the role of Santa’s elf and shop on your behalf!
THANK YOU for your generosity.
Congratulations to Team Hometown Bicycles sponsor, Dream Kitchens, on their fantastic new location!
Visit their showroom at 5728 Whitmore Lake Rd, Brighton.

5 DAYS LEFT – BUT THEN, YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT…
The way I see it, you’re likely in one of three states: panic, smug satisfaction, or mid-mayhem. Happily, we have just the thing for each!
If a five-day countdown gives you the cold sweats, breathe! We carry everything from bikes to bottle cages, and t-shirts to travel mugs. There are gift certificates and tune-up certificates for the impossible-to-shop-for, and we’re open right up to 3pm on Christmas Eve. Everybody loves riding a bike (well, almost everyone, but don’t worry – they’re working on a cure!) So, guaranteed happiness with one-stop shopping. Crisis. Averted.
If you’re still tracking down stocking stuffers and add-on presents, you’ll be good to go with our keychains, bottle openers, Gu and Hammer nutrition, CO2 pumps, winter gloves, bike lube, magnets, bike lights, shot glasses, and the hundred and one other pint-sized goodies for fun, bike-ish finishing touches.
If you’re patting yourself on the back for beating the rush, come out and celebrate with a winter ride on one of our rental fat bikes or – yahooo!! – reward yourself with one of your own! Treat yourself to that bike computer you’ve been oggling, or that pair of winter riding boots your feet have been begging for. Just consider us your “I rock!” celebration center.
