Hey, all you competitive peeps!
Are you REALLY gonna let someone else win? Or are you gonna BRING IT!?
Your chili isn’t going to cook itself, you know…
Welcome to…
Saturday, November 9th from 4-7 PM

We know — and you know — a lot of competitive people. A LOT. On the roads and trails AND in the kitchen. Our event this Saturday combines the best of both worlds!
KICK OFF OUR FAMOUS WINTER FAT BIKE FRIENDLY SHOP RIDE:
Team Hometown Co-Captain Mike Dyer is leading this one! Leaving from the shop at 1:30 PM, the posse will ride over to Island Lake and cover the blue loop and the badlands. Yellow loop too, if time permits! Bring your mountain bike or fat bike. Don’t have one? We rent them!

CHILI COOKOFF:
Stir up your favorite recipe and drop it off at the shop by 4 PM. People’s Choice judging will begin at 5 PM, and the winners will be announced by 7 PM. We have THREE categories to enter this year: Mild, Medium and Spicy. A winner will be selected from each category PLUS some lucky soul will take on the title of OVERALL BEST CHILI. Our very own Shaun has handcrafted some truly awe-inspiring trophies.
Enter your chili HERE!

MEET GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS CONTENDER BILL ST. ONGE!
Bill will be at the shop with his bike and gear to talk about distance riding, and specifically his upcoming quest to take on the official Guinness World Records title of “Oldest person to circumnavigate the planet by bicycle”.
Bring your curiosity and questions! Check out his blog HERE!

SHARE YOUR HARROWING ICEMAN STORIES!
We’ve seen the pics, we’ve serviced some of the surviving bikes, we’ve heard the tales of sinking into inches upon inches of mud… now’s your chance to come talk about it with other cyclists who were there, not to mention everyone who wasn’t there but WANTS to try this epic ride!
Team Hometown Bicycles represented at Iceman in droves.
Congratulations to Scott Simpson (above, top right) for his 4th place single speed podium. Great job, Scott!
Super proud of everyone who conquered this race in whole or in part.
AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT.
(So… who’s in for Iceman 2020?)
